hello, I slipped and fell over onto a hard floor at work about 4 and half weeks ago. I went to A&E as my left foot was hurting and there was a swelling over the front of my foot. I had an xray and the doctor told me that as there was a shadow over the bone, they would need Radiology to look at the xray. I never heard anything from the hospital but have a constant ache in my lower leg as well as a throbbing sensation in my foot. what does a shadow over the bone mean?
