What Is The Sign Of Ear Perforation?
My son has a small amount of waxy coloured fluid leaking from his ear when I took him to the GP this morning he diagnosed ear infection and prescribed antibiotics. When he looked inside my sons ear he said there was also a white gunk (can t remember the terminology he used) do you think this is a sign my sons ear drum has perforated?

Fungi like candida and aspergillus fumigated form whitish discharge (curd like and serous respectively)
other symptoms suggestive of fungal infection are pain itching etc.
You can try clotimazole ear drops
