What Is The Slight Painful Large Knot In The Calf?
I am 39 years old female found a large knot med size knot on inside my left calf this morning do not know how long it has be there but quite disturbing. Not really painful, but small pain when touched. Slight discolor in skin around knot also. But do not remeber doing any damage to calf for it to be a bruise.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe it appears to be a lymph gland in the calf, may be due to some infection in the leg below the knot, or foot. Slowly it may become enlarged and pain full. It may need to be incised and drained to clear the pus. The other causes may be the thrombosis in the veins of the calf. I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment . I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms after the incision, ofloxacin, ornidazole, serratiopeptidase, diclofenac , and paracetamol. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
