General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe it appears to be a lymph gland in the calf, may be due to some infection in the leg below the knot, or foot.
Slowly it may become enlarged and pain full. It may need to be incised and drained to clear the pus.
The other causes may be the thrombosis in the veins of the calf.
I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment .
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms after the incision, ofloxacin, ornidazole, serratiopeptidase, diclofenac , and paracetamol.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
