Thank you. i am a healthy 75 yr old female with no problems. Lately every so often, my right knee area-the skinny hinge-like bone on the outside of the knee, pops out and is extremely painful. I can t move at all when this happens eventually it goes back in place. What is this and is it serious? How can I avoid having this happen again? thanks, Marta Middleton
Dear Martin, you seem to be either having a meniscal tear or a loose body in the knee, i would advise you to consult a orthopaedic surgeon and get yourself screened, your problem can be easily managed. Thanks
