What Is The Solution For A Child Having Runny Nose, Wet Cough?
My son is 16 months old. He has a running nose and a cough. The cough is wet and it sounds like he is coughing something up. He coughs about three to four times an hour throughout the day. At night he coughs more often. His temp has been about 99 but never higher than that. The symptoms have lasted about three days. Any ideas on how to help him?

Welcome to the HCM.
Steam Inhalation frequently.
Some antihistaminic and decongestant medicine in syrup form for a week thrice a day.
Nebulization with duolin twice daily for a week.
If symptoms do not reaspond or increaswe then some relevant antibiotic to be added for a week.
Syrup paracetamol 6 hourly doses to be considered.
