What Is The Solution For Acid Reflux During Pregnancy?
I am 9 months pregnant today and for about a week or two now every time i eat anything at all i get acid reflux its nothing like heartburn though, it feels more like I have vomit sitting in my throat, it burns so bad and it burns in my upper stomach as well. It causes me to keep burping and sometimes i vomit in my mouth a little when i bend over or something. It is the worst feeling ever. The other night it was really bad but I just went on to bed and then i woke up early that morning vomiting but just like water and not much and then i had very bad diarrhea and i dont know what to do for it.. does drinking water help? what can i do to stop it without taking medications for it?
Hi, thank u.. Having acid reflux during 3rd trimester is quiet common due to increasing size of uterus pushing on the stomach. To control it have small amount of bland diet at regular interval.. avoid heavy, spicy diet prior to sleeping.. U can sleep in a semi-reclining position to prevent reflux.. Severe diarrhea is not normal.. adequate replenishment with electrolytes might be required. If dirrhoea didnot stop, U might have to consult ur obstretician for starting oral electrolytes/IV fluids and antibiotics if required.
