What Is The Solution For Headache Around The Right Temple And Pain Under Rib Cage?
i have a headache that starts around midday and stays the same until bed the last 3 days. The headache is concentrated around the right temple. Ive also been feeling pain, like a stich, under my rib cage on the right hand side. The pain under my rib gets worse when im walking or moving around.
Regarding your concern, I would explain that the pain on the ribs and headaches don't seem to be related to each other.
The headaches may be related to tension type headache.
The pain on the ribs, which exacerbates when moving seems to be typical of a musculoskeletal pain, probably inflammation.
I would recommend consulting with your GP for a careful physical exam, a chest X ray study and some blood lab tests (complete blood count, inflammation tests).
Meanwhile, I would recommend taking acetaminophen or ibuprofen for the pain.
Hope to have been helpful! Best wishes, Dr. Aida
