Hello. My period isn't due for another 2 weeks. I have been having really bad lower abdominal cramps and yesterday I had bleeding with clots. It was pinkish and then turned brown. Today no blood. I'm also having some nausea and dry heaving. Also bloating. What could be wrong? My periods have been becoming very irregular. Sometimes I have 2 in a month or they come 2 weeks before it's due to come.
First you have to rule out pregnancy. if a pregnancy test test is negative it would be recommended to get an evaluation for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding. There the bleeding can be due tone one of several possibilities usually following the PALM-COeIN theory. The anatomical possibilities include Polyps, Adenomyosis, Leiomyomas (fibroids), Malignancy; or something non-anatomical like Coagulation disorders, Ovulatory dysfunction, Endocrine problems, Idiopathic/Iatrogenic (rarefied or trauma) or for Not otherwise specified reasons. You will need to see an OBGYN to help you find out what is going on.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
