You have metastatic breast cancer which automatically becomes Stage IV.
Now that you have baseline PET scan, follow up PET scan is the best way to monitor response to treatment.
Repeat PET scan is best done 8 weeks after chemo and 12 weeks after radiotherapy. Interim PET (done in between chemotherapy) is best performed a few days before the next cycle of chemotherapy
