What Is The String Of Brown Mucus From The Nose?
I had a long brown string/trail of mucus come out of my nose, and it wasn't like normal mucus. Normal mucus you can just sneeze out, but this brown mucus I had to pull it out with a tissue and a whole bunch of brown mucus was in my tissue. The amount of brown mucus was about as big as a quarter.

There can be a few causes for the thick brown mucus which came out of your nose, the most common would be a sinus infection and fungal sinusitis. Both of these conditions require treatment and i would like you to meet your ent doctor , who will do an endoscopy of your nose and look for the cause of the discharge , he will guide you further. for the time being i would like you to take steam inhalation 2-3 times a day.
