What Is The Suggestion About High Diastolic Pressure After A Throat Infection?

I'd like to seek your advice about my blood pressure. Two weeks ago I had a rather severe throat infection and since then my diastolic pressure has been slightly raised, i.e. between 90-96. My systolic reading remains good at 117-128. Before the throat infection, my pressure was 125/85 on average. I am 44 years old, male.

Hai.any infection especially painful problems have a tendency to increase the blood pressure
Throat infections usually have sn impact on the pulmonary arterial pressure and also cause bronchoconstriction inturn reflexive increase in blood pressure, sometimes diastolic being more significant.
Check ur bp after the infection is totslly reduced nd u r relaxed totally.
At ur age it is not unlikely to get hypertension. If still it is the same pls visit a general physician to rule out the problem. Good luck take care
