I was sick almost two weeks ago with a sore throat, and fever etc. I had a throat culture done, and it came back abnormal and my Doctor said Hemophilus bacteria was present. I have finished antibiotics. However, I have still have throat pain, but it is much different than when I was first sick. Now, I have pain when I open my mouth wide, the pain is.. I guess I would say around the rim of my throat, near the back, by my tongue. It also sometimes hurts to stick my tongue out. I still experience mild, I would call it annoying, pain when I swallow. I have had this pain for about a week now and it isn't going away. It seems to be worse in the morning and at night. I don't know if I should go back to my doctor because the pain isn't terrible, but it doesn't feel good or normal either.
