Well hello there and welcome,

From the history given by you , seems like you'd experienced a mild traumatic head injury. But it seems like you're being dizzy on-off ever since. Are you sure that it was the sleep that led you to bang the back of your head??

I mean it could've been the dizziness itself which was prevailing for a while.

8 months a really long time period for any bump to persist(unless its the same area which got injured again)

However since you're still experiencing this dizziness episodes till now, I'd suggest you to check into your nearest ER or see a Neurologist at the earliest to get a thorough Neurological examination as well as MRI- Brain done .

Hope this'll help you and thanks again for contacting HCM
