Hi, My 4 yr old daughter has a lump on the back of her earlobe. It is very painful and when I drain it alot of pus and blood comes out. Just when I think it is gone it fills up again. What could it be? She had her ears pierced 4 months ago, but the lump is not on the piercing.
Understanding your concern. As per your query lump in the earlobe of your daughter is mainly due to infection of the ear lobe or due to parotid gland swelling. I would suggest you to take a combination of Antibiotics/ antihistaminics. Apply Voltaren Gel locally.Gargles with Listerine antiseptic mouth wash. Take Tab Zincovit to fasten the healing. Give your daughter hot fomentation. Symptoms will resolve in one week. If symptoms keeps on persisting visit ENT specialist once and get it examined.
