What Is The Treatment For Bad Taste In The Mouth?

I am a Female aged 46 and live in South Africa. On Warfarin for past two weeks. Also take Ecotrin on advice from Neurologist, and Epitec (Lamictin) for Epilepsy. Med history: Factor V deficiency. 1 x DVT and PE 26 years ago, 2 x CVA 2003/2004, recent TIA (3 weeks ago). Over past 3 days I have not been able to get rid of an unpleasant taste (metallic, sulphuric, bitter) in the roof of my mouth. What is the cause and is there anything I can do about it?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It may be due to gastritis. For that you may take tablet pantoprazole and syrup mucaine gel after physician consultation. Avoid hot and spicy food.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
