What Is The Treatment For Blocked Ears With Partial Hearning Loss Caused By Sinusitis?
I had a bad cold which developed into a sinus infection. After 15 days of antibiotics, the mucus was clear (not greenish), but my ears are blocked up. A hearing test indicated about 50% hearing loss. This has gone on for about 30 days. What can I do to unblock these ears?
hi and thanks for the query, you can unclog the ears by decongestant nose drops like otrivin. these drops open the eustachian tube that connects the back of the nose to the inside of the ear. usually when there is cold these tubes get blocked leading to clogged ears. you can instill 3 drops in each nostril 3 times a day for 5 days . follow it up with steam inhalation.
