What Is The Treatment For Blocked Nose?

Hi
For the last year I have used Vicks sinex nasal sprays as I can't breath through my nose without it.
I used to use cocaine few years ago.
Is there anything I can do or that can be done so I can breath again like normall.
I don't use coke anymore.

Hi

Welcome in HCM.

I understand your concern and as you are having blocked nose for last one year and getting relief by vicks sinex nasal spray. This indicates that you may be having either infective or allergic pathology in the form of sinusitis with or without polyp.

Therefore it will be better to consult your ENT specialist for thorough examination and necessary investigations to find out the real cause that may be accordingly plan for treatment. because prolong use of nasal spray may develop rhinitis medicamentosa.

Till you are waiting for specialist you may do-

1- Steam inhalation.

2- Tab cetrizine.

probably you will get some solution from above.

Thanks.
