What Is The Treatment For Chronic Lower Back Pain?
looking for a doctor to treat chronic pain coming from lower back i have spondlolythesis grade 3.5 degenerative disc disease , i have adhesive arachnoiditis. i have been operated on multiple times fusion posterior anterior fusion l4 l5 s1 . i currently have a spinal chord stimulator. i have tried neurontin, i lyrica, i am on oxycontin and topomax and occassionally valium. the pain is usually an 8 most days today approaching 10. i have tried epidurals. the burning in my legs down both is what is toughest to take although the lower back is close behind. if i could get rid of leg pain i could handle the back i believe. this has been going on for the last 20 years at this level since 2001 and i can barley breathe . i am 53 years old. with a fantastic husband and family and want to figure out how to live. i have everything iwant in life except the ability to sit and lay down without feeling like each beath will be my last since the pain is sooo high. i see a fantastic doctor but there has to be something out there to help. or someone.
Hello.

Depends on the cause. If it is a disc prolapse then regular physiotherapy exercises are recommended. In case of nerve root compression surgery is needed.
