What Is The Treatment For Chronic Sinusitis Pain?
Hi, I have chronic sinusitus pain behind and above my eyes. I have been to two ENT doctors, have had allergy testing, sinus CT scan, accupuncture, several rounds of antibiotics, take an anti-yeast remedy to rid any possible candida yeast and have yet to be able to get much relief. I do smoke menthol cigarettes and am to the point of deciding to quit so I can be relieved of this terrible pain. Do you think this might be what is causing my sinusitus pain?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have chronic sinusitis pain which is due to impaired immunity of body and leftover respiratory tract infection. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment as per that. You should get CT scan of sinuses and Chest done again with contrast to get an exact diagnosis of the lung disease. You should avoid taking outside food. Sip on warm saline gargles. Continue antibiotic course and avoid taking oily and spicy food and cold beverages. Probably you are suffering from an allergic problem or fibrotic diseases so you should start treatment after proper examination.
