I have a horrible cold and this morning I was peeing and coughed super super hard and felt a sharp pain originating from the area the urine was coming from. (I'm a female) now when I pee it BURNS and bleeds a little and both stop when I am finished. Did I tear something?

Hello,

As you have burning sensation and bleed little, I think you have urinary tract infection or cystitis.

To confirm we have to do urine analysis. Along with that you should do ultrasound abdomen and pelvis to rule out any chances of bladder stones.

Now you can take tab. Oflox Oz, syrup Cital, and tablet Dolo after consultation. So, I will suggest you to review here with detailed history or consult with urologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale
