hi.

noted history of depression post partum and post-cholecystectomy. this can happen to anyone who is sick, someone who underwent surgery and/or pregnancy. the usual blues resolves spontaneoulsy. but if the feeling of being depressed and "sick" is persistent, it is best if you do a followup consult with your doctor, preferably with your surgeon or obstetrician, for lcinical evaluation. if needed, psychological/psychiatric consult may be recommended. a talk with a good friend or family can be of help as well.

hope this helps.

good day!!
