What Is The Treatment For Depression?
My 23 yr old boy twin has deppression. My mother, keep bugging him about finding a job. She is kind of mean to him. He thinks everyone hates him. What can I tell my Mom ? so she will stop without her thinking that hes a Momma's boy?

I have manic deppression with extreme lows(no highs or mania)- no money or insurance for Doctor or meds. for my son and I. thank you.

In ur case, it is important to psycho-educate his mom about his mental condition other wise she would continuously criticize him which could increase the depressive symptoms. If he is not taking any medicine, then put him on low dose antidepressant like tab escitalopram 10mg once a day and gradually increase the dose. It would help him to overcome the depression. In sleep disturbance, u can give him low dose benzodiazepine. try to consult a psychiatrist for further help.
