What Is The Treatment For Dilated Cardiomyopathy?

I have had right dilated cardiomyopothy for the last two and a half years just been discharged from hospital again with breathlessness and told my conditions is terminal. Is there nothing I can have done I an 59 and also suffer severe rheumatoid Arthritis, also have atrial fribulation all controlled at present with drugs.

Am sorry to hear about your sufferings.
Truely speaking, Just Heart transplant is the last reservoir for its treatment, but it is very expensive and hardly we can get a donour, making this approach non practical.
I would advice you to continue your medications, which must include lasix. Under medication my patients have lived longer than 30-40 years with this disease. So you must be hopeful.
