As per your complain it seems that your son is suffering from chronic ear infection and fever occurs when the infection enter blood stream from infection site and the body tries to wall off the infection causing rise in body temperature.. As you give antibiotic ear drops the infection becomes milder and symptoms subside but does not resolve completely.. Bad breath can occur when the infection reaches from ear to throat via a connecting tub known as Eustachian tube as well as it can be due to sinusitis or upper respiratory tract infection.. You should consult an Otolaryngologist and get a roper clinical checkup of his ears done and in case of infection he will advise him antibiotics to be taken orally like amoxicillin, antibiotic ear drops, acetaminophen for fever and decongestants..
