What Is The Treatment For Heartburn At Night?

especially at night, i cannot sleep, have to sit up sleeping, due to serve burning sensation, like red hot chillies, pushing through the nipple in my breast. eat 4 spoons of sugar, or honey to cool the heartburn. taste of cooking oil also come up to choke me especially at night when laying down. terrible boatness in stomach, like i am 8 months pregnant. causing gastric farts uncontrollable. do i have peptic ulcers. because my insides feel like sores, paining awfully. chest burns when eating food. i am 48 years old, weight 57kg and 1.56 in height. of Indian race.

Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Heartburn is most probably due to esophagitis which is turn is usually due to GERD that is gastroesophageal reflux, hiatus hernia and gastritis or ulcers. This is most probably instigated or enhanced by many fibers:
Stress and anxiety.
Hot, spicy, oily foods.l
Irregular eating habits.
Outside junk foods.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Try to find the instigating or enhancing factors and avoid these at any cost.
Consult a Gastroenterologist for clinical evaluation, examination and investigations like Upper GI endoscopy, Barium swallow and meal, ultrasonography of abdomen, tests of blood, stool and urine.
All these will give the most probable diagnosis and a plan of management.
