What Is The Treatment For Heavy Bleeding After Having An Implanon?

Hi , I have had the implanon 5 months I got put on the regividon pill about 3 month ago for 63 days contiously as of heavy bleeding ,I took my last pill 1 week ago and heavy bleeding started on the 3rd day until now is this normal my family nurse told me its just a withdrawal bleed but I am starting to get scared

Heavy irregular bleeding is an expected side effect of hormonal birth control. These side effects will eventually subside in few months. If bothersome, consider switiching to alternate methods of contraception.
