What Is The Treatment For High Fever,cough, Body And Head Aches?

hi, So my niece had strep throat 2 weeks ago, Got better for a few days, and now is coughing again, slight runny nose, headaches, body aches, and she had a fever three nights ago, took her to the doctors,2 days ago, they said it was viral, and to give her tylenol, She didnt have a fever yesterday, but today she puked, and around 730 had a fever of 102.5 and after tylenol its down to 100.00 She has asthma, and they tell us not to give her any cough medicine, Is there something else i can do for her? i gave her throat spray and fever reducer, and made her take a warm shower, but this suffering is driving me crazy! any suggestions will be helpful thanks!
