I sliced the under side of one of my toes of yesterday. today under local anesthetic the surgeon scrubbed and cleaned the wound then stretched skin over the bone and sealed it with 2 stitches. I have swab dressing on it and he told me to leave it on till friday when i have to go back to outpatients. however i am a bit concerned as the blood has seeped through the dressing and i feel it is now dirty and the dressing should be changed before then---am I right? I do not want the wound to become infected
