What Is The Treatment For Lymph Node TB?

My sister is suffering from lymph nodes TB. She had taken all the course of tablets for 6 months but now she is feels the same symtoms of it. will it contaminate others. pls let me know.

I can understand your concern.
No, lymphnode tuberculosis is not contagious and can not spread to others.
Usual duration treatment for lymphnode tb is 6-8 months.
So she taken appropriate duration of treatment.
Since she is having recurrence of symptoms, we should rule out drug resistance tuberculosis.
For this, she needs ultrasound examination neck to see for lymphnode size.
Excision biopsy of the lymphnode is needed to rule out drug resistant tb.
If it is resistant tb then she may need second line anti tubercular drugs for 2 years.
So better to consult TB specialist and discuss all these.
