What Is The Treatment For Macular Degeneration?

I have recently been diagnosed with macular degeneration in one eye. The retina speciailst in my area says nothing can be done, but I read about treatments online. How do I find a top rated retina specialist? It does not have to be in my area of the country.

macular degeneration is of dry and weight type. prognosis is not good. can take antioxidant. pvt therapy, macugen injection to retina are recommended. no authenticity in treatment. treatment with alternative medicine and acupuncture claims satis factory result. but can not be trusted.
