What Is The Treatment For Pain In Back After Down Fall From Stairs?

Teenage girl fell down a flight of carpeted stairs this afternoon. She blacked out for a little while, woke up, and couldn t catch her breath. She took anti inflamatories, hot bath, then iced it. It s now midnight and her back is in a lot of pain. Should we go to the er or wait to see if things improve by morning?

Her symptoms are related to muscle contusion(bruise). The treatment of muscle contusion contains non steroidal anti inflammatory medicines, rest, ice, compression and elevation.
You should take her to Emergency Room for a bruise harm score.

X-ray and complete blood count are necessary in these cases. Complete blood count will show if she has internal bleeding.

Contact an orthopedist.
