What Is The Treatment For Pain In The Knee Under The Patella?

I have had 5 ops on my right knee due to a accident, I had a ACL, repair of menisus cartlige, and then removal, my patella was shaved because it was catching, but i am still in pain and cannot walk far with crutches. My knee seems to go inwards and feels like the patella is not going back into position. It has now affected my left knee and i am getting pain under the patella. Can you suggest the next step.

Hello,

It could be ligament or tendon sprain. As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or Aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedic and get evaluated. In severe cases an MRI knee may be needed.
