What Is The Treatment For Pain In The Lower Right Abdomen?
I have this weird pain in my lower right abdomen. It doesn't hurt to the point where I can't take it but it's there and it's very uncomfortable. Sometimes the pain extends to my right lower back. It comes and goes and it's been going on for over a week now. What could it be?
hi Pain at right lower abdomen might be the result of appendicitis. It can be a part of flank pain indicating some kidney or urinary tract problem. Other causes can be ovarian cysts, pelvic inflammmatory disease in females. It can also be caused by inflammatory bowel disease. Pain of renal stones or kidney infections may radiate to back. Infection may cause fever with it and burning micturition where as kidney stone pain usually deteriorates as you dehydrate. I suggest you do a blood count and urine routine examination to confirm any kidney or bladder condition. To rule out other causes i suggest an abdominal ultrasound and an abdominal x rays. Till then you can take a pain killer and paracetamol in case of fever for symptomatic relief. An examination by your doctor might be much helpful. Best of luck.
