Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
When getting up on my legs, the pain down the back of my right legs is so bad it causing me not to be able to put pressure on my foot to walk. its like a pain from my thigh down my leg. pain is in the back of my knee. also when standing it feels like muscle tearing in my thigh on the left leg.
Pain radiating along your back of thigh and legs, suggests pinching of a nerve in your spine. Since its present mainly on movements and you are painfree at rest it suggests a dynamic stenosis. If its affecting your daily routine, I suggest you to get an X Ray if your spine at first. Most vlikly your pain wil respond well to pain killer medicines. physiotherapy protocol including core stabilisation and muscle strengthening. If you still persists to have pain 6 weeks into therapy , it would be prudent to do further tests whcih will include an MRI.
Hope this helps.
All the best.
Regards.
