Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It is senile purpura. Avoid trauma and heavy rubbing or scratching of the skin. As the capillary wall becomes fragile due to age, minor trauma and scratching cause rupture of the capillaries leading to ecchymoses. It is called senile purpura. Apply thrombophob ointment on the patches. Take vitamin C tablets.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
