What Is The Treatment For Persistant High Fever?

Sir my son I suffering from very high fever. And I given him a doos of meftal -p at 9 pm and fever came down .and at 1 o clock I gave him calpol .....but fever is not coming down .so again when can I give him an other doss of meftal-p ...and if u can help me out in some other way than I will be great full to you.

Hi

If the fever is above 102'F, you may give Meftal-P every 8 hrs in correct dosage.
In between you may give Paracetamol after 4 hrs only if needed.
Avoid giving too much dosages.

Try giving tepid sponging with tap water.
Give him plenty of fluids.

In case if fever persists, do see your doctor and get him examined.
