My 23 month old toddler accidently rubbed her eye with iodex ( I know it should have been out of her reach). I immediately washed her eye with running water and soap. She is calm now but the eye is puffy and swollen around the eye lids. What should I do?
Hello It seems from the history that your daughter rubbed iodex in to her eyes following which she is having swollen eyes. This is because of irritation caused by iodex. This will cone down and it is not a serious problem. Just wash her eyes to remove any retained iodex and apply cold compression. If the symptoms won't resolve may need anti allergic medications after the consultationwith your doctor.
Thank you
