What Is The Treatment For Redness In The Anal Area?
hi my son is 4 1/2 months old, the area near his anus is red just refuses to go away. Its becomes less sometimes but when the number of his motions increases so does the redness. We got a stool test done and it says + for undigested fat.. And + for reducing substances. The ph is also alkaline. My doc kept saying that acidic stools cause the redness and also that he's lactose intolerant to breast milk. But we have continued the breast milk. His weight increase is normal, but this problem does not end. I have stopped my milk completly cause i read somewhere that main reason for this type of redness in babies is mother's milk intake. But even then its still there. Please suggest something that the redness will completely stop.
