What Is The Treatment For Redness, Inflammation, Pain, Itching And Pus After Shaving Pubic Area?

I shaved my pubic area for the first time earlier this week, and now its inflamed and red. There are these red pimple things that are pussing and the pain and itching is unbearable. I thought it was In
grown hair, but I looked online for At home treatments and tried them. They didn't work.

Hello ma'am and welcome.

If this presentation was observed after shaving, and there is pus oozing from these boil-like presentations, then this could be folliculitis, which is inflammation and even possible infection of hair follicles.

You may require antibiotic coverage, but in the meantime, keep the region clean and dry, take warm sitz baths with epsom salt in it, and apply a warm compress to the affected region several times a day.

Hope this helps.

Take care.
