possibly there is damage to lower spinal nerves leading to loss of bladder sensation. For scoliosis there has to be an evaluation how much flexibility is there to decide for course of treatment either by surgery or by mechanical means. At 21, only supportive care may be indicated. A spine surgeon has to evaluate physically if surgery can be of more benefit for correction of posture and further prevention of damage to nerves, pressure on abdominal organs etc.
