What Is The Treatment For Seizures In A Child?

My 3 year old grandaughter has just started having seizures. She has a variety of seizures, and has been in and out of the ER and hospital.

A Neurologist told us two weeks ago that she has lennox gastaut syndrome, but someone else looking at her chart today said he didn't think so as she had a recent normal eeg. She has had ct, mri, pet scan, all labs were normal, spinal tap was normal, ekg was normal, chromosomal tests pending. When I read the info on lennox gastaut, I can't imagine our normal little girl having this disorder. Any ideas? Thanks JoAnn
