What Is The Treatment For Severe Asthma Along With Cold,yellow Mucus Cough And Runny Nose?
Hi my boyfriend is 26 he suffers with bad asma, he has the turbo inhaylors, he has been coming down with a cold for thee last couple of days but now his temp is 39.4 but he's complaing he's cold one min and hot the next, he's coughing up yellowy mucus, his nose goes from being bunged up to runny, he's got a sore throat and painful cough, I'm getting him to drink fruit and barley water but he won't eat, he aches all over and can't get comfy- he was feels sick on and off but hasn't been sick, he has had benylin mucus cold and flu tablets- any advice would be appreciated- been with him 8years and never saw him like this he's hardly ever ill except his asma. Asthma is due to the allergy, may be due to the food, clothes, wool, cold weather, etc.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. He may need to have an x ray, and blood tests for diagnosis.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms cifixime, levocitrizine, montelecast, phenylphrine , and paracetamol.
Avoid giving fruits, juices, cooling things, till he gets allright.
