What Is The Treatment For Sore Throat And Lumps In The Throat?
Im a 19yr/old male. And i ve had mono for about 3 weeks to a month now. I was prescribed liquid steroids, and pain killers. Ive gotten over the sore throat almost entirely. But in my throat there feels to be lumps left behind that when i swallow sometimes tastes like feces. I usually spit out a bit of brownish substance up with spit. And 2 times a day ill being up a chunk of this lumpish stuff in my throat. It is brown, and it appears to be bloody. Any help as to how I can get rid of these lumps? Its gross to eat.
It may be a hemoptysis probably due to bronchitis or post nasal discharge in sinusitis or acid peptic disease with reflux. Use tablet pantaprazole before breakfast for one week. Please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
