What Is The Treatment For Sore Throat And Sinus Infection?
I just found out my 17yr old daughter has a bilirubin level of 1.5 and the pediatric doctor does not seem concerned at all. I don t understand this. She is currently sick w/a very bad sore throat and sinus infection, but they seem to see no reason to test her for mono. Should I get a second opinion from a family doctor instead of the Pediatrician?
Don't worry little elevation of bilirubin may be seen in fevers due to hemolysis. But don't worry, use tablet Amoxicillin and Clavulinic Acid 625 mg for five days. Use water vapour inhalation thrice a day for five days. Use salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. If symptoms not improved please consult with your physician / ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
