What Is The Treatment For Stinging And Sensitivity In Head After Injury?

hi.. i fell hard on my left side including slamming my head extremely hard.. i cried because of the pain and needed help getting up.. its been 3 days now and my life head side is extremely sensitive with bad stinging with a single touch.. its even sinsitive laying on a pillow

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms, they are most likely due to the injury of nerves in the scalp (skin over the head).

For relief of stinging and increased sensitivity, you could take pregabalin or gabapentin capsules.

If there is swelling, you could also take diclofenac or ibuprofen tablets.

You would get better in a week to 10 days.
