What Is The Treatment For Stomach Cramps And Infrequent Runny Stools While Suffering From Ulcerative Colitis?

I have UC and PSC. I am a usaf veteran age 67. Discharged in 1970. Left with stomach cramps and infrequent runny stools. Never entered VA programs as we were not as informed when I was on active duty as young troops are today. Increasingly worsened until diagnosed around 1980. I was stationed in Okinawa, Korea, Vietnam (only 12 days) and Thailand. Was overseas for 30 straight months. Also have thyroid problems-only child in family with 9 siblings ever in service. Only person in family with thyroid disease and Colitis except my two daughters. No other sibling children have these problems. Both daughters also have digestive disease problems. Trying to determine if agent orange or dioxin could have caused this. We also were sprayed nightly with DDT.

Hi. Gone through your history. I hope by this time colonoscopy with biopsy must have been done to see what is the exact problem you are suffering from . DDT had its own era and now a banned thing. A treatment instituted under a care of an expert Garto-enterologist will definitely help you solve the problem. You have to avoid al the foods and beverages increasing this problem. An Yoga- selfmeditation does help .
