I have a couple scaps on the right side of my face right on my jawline that are caused from a pimple i was trying to get the black heads out of. Before i picked at them thought they were already raised up under the skin kinda large and painful. Now the my jaw is swollen up to my earlobe and cheek and under my jaw and is very painful. I found some amoxicillan and am taking it anx have a hot rag on it. Is this a abcessed and do i need to lance it to drain it?
