What Is The Treatment For Swollen And Painful Throat?

I sneezed 3 hrs ago..I never hold them in..This was strong and I m never concerned..but this one immediately now for three hrs my throat right at Adams apple and way deeper ..meaning lower hurts soo bad...swallowing is soo painful..I took 800 mg of ibuprofen because the pain is worse than when I broke my toe..and ran it over with a tow motor....and had too have the blood drained..just for comparison. ..This is nasty...also..I have been getting goosebumps spiradically..chills.....Did I tear something? Pull a muscle..because I can t believe a sneeze is causing this much below jaw and touching Adams apple is sore....

I understand your problems.
Sneezing can cause pull of muscle.! Since it is a violent contraction of body, it may result a pull or pain somewhere in neck and back. Usually taking an analegesic may not be necessary. But if the pain is too much, there is nothing harm in taking. Sneezing can cause bursting of blood capillaries somewhere down throat can cause spitting of blood, but usually reduces on its own.
To relieve your pain, take steam inhalation and hot fomentation of your throat.
Drink honey in a spoon. Usually home remedies suffice. Very rarely if pain does not subside, please visit ER.
