Hey my son has extreme swelling on his face that showed up today. The swelling appeared last week on his legs and moved up his body. We took him to the doctor and they believe it was allergies, but he hasn t ate anything different than he usually does.
Hello,Thanks for your query.After going through your query I came to know that your son is having generalized edema all over your body . Various causes of generalized edema is kidney disease,congestive heart failure, hypoproteinemia and allergies. For this kidney function tests,echocardiography, serum protein examination should be carried out .Till then he should be treated presuming it allergic by hydro-cortisone , avil and other anti allergic drugs.
