What Is The Treatment For Throat Infection?

I know I should be going to an E.R. about this, (Seeing as I don't have health insurance.) But for the last week I've been waking up, I will spit a little amount of blood. It's not from my teeth or anything, It kind of drains out of my throat. As each day goes on, I notice more blood. I'm not sick right now, But I've had lung issues in the past such as Asthma, Bronchitis. I am a smoker. Cigarettes for 5 years, Marijuana for about 4. I'm 20 years old, And a male.
